Book New Year's Eve in Ankara as three separate arrangements: the event, dinner and the journey home. For December 31, 2026, there is a confirmed Redd concert at Jolly Joker, but a concert ticket does not settle the other two. Check the category rules and use a return plan that works even without a special late-night rail extension. [1]

First confirm the year, venue and admission category

The upcoming celebration runs from Thursday, December 31, 2026, into Friday, January 1, 2027. When reading a "2027 New Year" page, look for that exact event date. A page updated recently can still contain a programme that welcomed 2026. The safest booking path is the venue's own calendar followed by the seller it identifies.

Jolly Joker's official Ankara calendar includes Redd's December 31 show. Its venue listing places the concert at Kızılırmak Caddesi 14, Kavaklıdere. Save that address with the ticket: the venue brand operates in different cities, and a correct artist name does not by itself confirm the correct location. [2] [3]

Biletix states that this event is 18+, that the listed 21:00 time is doors opening, and that ticket holders must call for a reservation. It also publishes no-cancellation, no-refund and no-change conditions for purchased tickets. Read the actual seller terms before paying; do not interpret those conditions as a complete statement of every possible legal remedy. [1]

A reservation requirement is not decorative text. Complete the call after purchase, confirm the party size and retain the response. Travelers who cannot comfortably make the call in Turkish can ask their hotel to help communicate the booking details. Do not assume the hotel can alter the event's terms or obtain a table that your ticket category does not include.

Compare the payable total, not the headline discount

The checked listings showed a Biletix starting price of TRY 1,140 and a Bubilet balcony-bistro category at TRY 2,850. These are advertised amounts from different listings, not a guarantee of the same inventory or the final checkout total. A low headline price is not evidence that it includes a seated table or dinner. [1] [4]

Bubilet also displayed a four-person VIP package at TRY 26,000. Dividing that by four gives TRY 6,500 per person before any extra purchases. The package description includes a bottle and refreshments, not a multi-course meal. It is therefore misleading to compare that amount directly with a restaurant's all-inclusive dinner without first separating what each purchase provides. [4]

For a two-person trip, use a simple budget with four lines: event admission for two, dinner for two, additional drinks and the return ride. Add any booking charges shown at checkout. This is more reliable than setting a budget from an advertisement and discovering that the table, food and transport were separate.

Be particularly cautious with a buy-one-get-one promotion that requires at least two tickets. Until the basket makes the number of admissions and total charge explicit, do not assume the displayed figure is the price per couple. This guide does not calculate a saving from those ambiguous promotion labels.

Put dinner before the event unless a meal is confirmed

For the Redd concert, an early dinner followed by a single venue transfer is the cleanest sequence. As an editorial planning example, aim to finish eating around 20:00, leaving time to collect coats, settle the bill and reach the entrance before or around doors opening. This is not a published concert timetable or a prediction of the admission queue.

Tell the restaurant that you have another booking and ask whether the sitting can realistically finish when you need it to. A long tasting menu is a poor match for a fixed onward commitment unless the kitchen agrees to the timing. Choose somewhere near the venue rather than crossing the city for an additional celebrated address.

For guests who prefer a dinner-only celebration, reverse the priority. Reserve the meal first, establish whether the table remains yours through midnight and make any later entertainment optional. Paying for two non-refundable programmes that overlap is not a more complete night; it is an expensive choice between them.

Food availability after the concert should be treated as a bonus, not the plan. Carry essential medication and eat sufficiently before entering. Do not assume a venue's refreshments amount to a meal that can accommodate your dietary requirements.

Last year's 03:00 trains are not this year's promise

EGO announced a rail extension to 03:00 for the night of December 31, 2025, with supporting bus arrangements. That official notice is dated December 30, 2025 and explicitly names January 1, 2026. It cannot establish the service that will run after midnight on January 1, 2027. No equivalent notice for the coming night was verified at publication. [5]

Until a new notice appears, plan the late return without depending on an extension. The most robust arrangement is accommodation within a manageable walk of your chosen event, provided the actual route suits your group. Examine the route, gradients and crossings in daylight. "Nearby" on a booking map is not the same as a comfortable walk in evening shoes during winter weather.

Otherwise, ask your accommodation or a licensed transport operator to arrange a ride. Establish the pickup location, the applicable charging basis and what happens if the performance ends later than expected. A fixed meeting point slightly away from a busy entrance may be practical, but choose it with the driver rather than improvising after the show.

Do not create a departure plan based on a guessed concert finish. Ask the organizer about expected timings closer to the event, while accepting that performances can overrun. Keep a way to contact the driver that does not depend on a nearly empty phone battery.

Make the morning after easy

A long night followed by a tightly timed excursion or an early flight leaves little room for delays. I would keep January 1 light: breakfast, a short walk and a flexible indoor visit only after confirming holiday opening. The same caution applies to airport transfers; a New Year rail announcement, if issued, does not automatically extend every airport service.

Save the event ticket, restaurant confirmation and hotel address offline. Put the reservation phone number alongside them, not only inside an email you may struggle to find outside the venue. Carry a payment backup and decide where the group will meet if people become separated.

The strongest New Year plan is not the one with the most reservations. It is the one where the date is correct, every guest has the right admission, dinner fits the programme and everyone knows how they are getting back. That leaves the actual evening free for the performance rather than last-minute logistics.
